Kwaku Bediako serves as the Founder and Executive Chairman of the CH Group of Companies. With over 25 years’ experience in International Business, he leads the Group with the objective of ensuring the overall success of its diverse subsidiaries and growing the Group’s portfolio.

Fueling his commitment to identifying and cultivating cross-sector opportunities, Kwaku founded Chase Petroleum in 1997, a leading Oil Trading and Bulk Distributor which soon secured a prominent position in the market and became the first to be issued a Bulk Distributor’s License. Complementarily  notable among his ventures in the energy sector is Tema Tank Farm (TTF)— the largest privately-owned oil depot in Ghana.

In line with his vision for sustained expansion, Kwaku recognized a gap in the real estate market in 1999 and established Goldkey Properties. This venture focuses on developing world-class residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties in prime locations across Accra and has now become the largest commercial real estate developer in the country.

Under Kwaku’s guidance, CH Group has evolved into one of Ghana’s largest conglomerates, boasting prominent subsidiaries and substantial investments spanning the Energy, Real Estate, Logistics, Water & Wastewater, and Agribusiness sectors. With his intuitive, forward-thinking, and hands-on approach, Kwaku consistently aims to replicate the Group’s success in various fields, including technology and environmental conservation.

A forward-thinking leader with a passion for unlocking Africa’s potential, Kwaku has received numerous awards in recognition of his outstanding career. Among these honors are the National Business Hero of the Year (2022), the Social Impact Leadership Excellence Award (2022), the Health, Environment, Safety & Security (HESS) Exemplary Leadership Award (2022), and the title of Ghana’s Most Respected CEO for Downstream Oil/Gas (2021). Notably, he was also presented with a prestigious national award by His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana, for his significant contributions to combating the Covid-19 pandemic in 2023.

In addition to his professional achievements, Kwaku is an active philanthropist who channels his dedication to social responsibility through the CH Group Foundation. The foundation focuses on supporting initiatives in environmental conservation, education, and community development.
