Borehole for Silinga

Silinga is a small farming community of about 300 people located close to Walewale, the Municipal capital.

Prior to construction of the borehole, the community’s source of water was from hand-dug wells, streams and harvested rainwater. Some of these sources were contaminated.

CH Group constructed a borehole to provide a safe alternative water source for the community. On commissioning, the borehole was handed over for supervision by the district assembly and the community elders.
