Purpose of the Job
The incumbent will report to the Commercial Business Unit Head and will assist the Unit Head with all commercial activities and in carrying out the responsibilities surrounding the day-to-day functions of the business unit as determined by the Head. Responsible for promoting the Company’s commercial products and services as a professional while helping to develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients, and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- The Associate shall successfully conclude lease transactions while ensuring that clients are well satisfied with the product and service.
- Provide the unit/department with up to date on market conditions/trends.
- Assist in the management and coordination of the entire development process, from land acquisition and entitlements to design, construction, and leasing.
- Monitor and report on the performance of commercial real estate assets.
- Assist in the negotiation of lease agreements and other contracts through to closure.
- Provide support in the development and implementation of asset management strategies.
- Provide support and expansion into new businesses and geographies.
- Assists in prospecting for new business leases and seeks opportunities to increase existing ones.
- Assists in meeting established revenue goals.
- Conduct due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Participate in property tours and site visits.
- Assists to resolve clients’ requests, complaints, and problems.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and presentations.
- Keeps management informed of industry activities, changes in competitive conditions, and significant problems.
- Completes and submits required reports and records accurately and promptly
Qualifications
- A degree in Land Economy/Real Estate.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role.
