With over 20 years experience in investment, advisory, transactions and project finance, Kwaku Bediako has served as the Executive Chairman of the CH Group since its inception and has an oversight responsibility of all activities of the Group’s subsidiaries.

Kwaku is an ardent entrepreneur. In 1997 he established Chase Petroleum Ghana Limited, a fast growing Oil Trading and Bulk Distribution Company. Under his leadership, Chase Petroleum is recognized as one of the leading oil companies in Ghana and was the first to be issued with the Bulk Distributor’s License.

In 1999 he saw a gap in Ghana’s real estate market and set up Goldkey Properties Limited to develop real estate in Accra’s prime locations. Goldkey Properties has since developed real estate infrastructure with an approximate asset base of US$70M.

Kevin provides great expertise and direction for the group through his vast experience in identifying green field opportunities, developing strategies and coordinating all business elements required to make them successful joint venture initiatives.

Kevin was first engaged in 2007 to work directly with the Executive Chairman, structuring and executing new business development opportunities for the real estate and oil & gas interests of the company. More recently, he has provided leadership in directing the company’s partnerships in the telecommunications and agro industries.

Kevin holds an MBA in International Oil & Gas Management from the University of Dundee, Scotland, and a BA in Political Science & Philosophy from the University of Ghana. He has attended several professional development programs in oil supply and management, project management corporate finance and funds management.

Akosua qualified as a barrister in the UK and specialized in employment law. Prior to joining CH Group, Akosua spent several years in senior management roles in the banking sectors in both Ghana and the United Kingdom. She has worked with Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), Barclays Bank of Ghana and the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Since joining CH Group, Akosua has contributed greatly to the company by developing the group concept and holding structure, introducing the systems, processes and recruiting highly qualified professionals to manage the various companies.

George was engaged as the Finance Director of the Group in 2013. Before joining CH Group, he had a 10-year engagement with Stanbic Bank, holding various managerial positions including Deputy Head of Finance. He was also the Financial Controller of Stanbic Investment Management Services Ltd, a subsidiary of the bank from 2007 to January 2011. His wealth of knowledge and experience also extends into the aviation industry.

George is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He holds an MBA in Finance and BSC in Administration, both from the University of Ghana.

Salim is a Civil Engineer with professional experience of more than 15 years in managing construction projects in the Oil Industry. He joined Chase Petroleum Ghana Ltd in July 2010 as the Storage and Operations Advisor and has performed as the Terminal Manager for Tema Tank Farm since July 2011 where he has brought on board his specialized expertise in Projects and Operations Management, Petroleum Engineering, HazOps and Risk Assessments, Process Safety Management, Civil Engineering, Hydraulics and water supply and Environmental Impact Surveys.

Dan was appointed Managing Director of Chase Petroleum Ghana Limited in February 2013. Prior to joining Chase Petroleum, he worked at the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) as the Director responsible for petroleum products pricing, planning and research from October 2005 to January 2013. He worked for the Ministry of Energy, Ghana, from 1987 to 2005 and rose to the rank of the Acting Director of Petroleum and Head Petroleum Downstream in 2001.

He sits on the Boards of: Chase Petroleum Board, Tema Tank Farm and United Storage Company Limited. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Methodist Development Fund (MDF) of The Methodist Church Ghana.

Dan holds a Master of Science Degree in Petrochemical Engineer with specialty in the processing of oil and gas from the Moscow Institute of Oil and Gas; and an MBA from the University of Liverpool, UK.

Raphael is from Kingston, Jamaica with over ten years experience in the telecommunication industry. The majority of his working life has been with Ericsson, one of the biggest telecom vendors globally. There, he held several senior level management positions including Head of Solutions and Technical Strategy for MTN West African operations, Tigo operations in Sub-Sahara Africa and Digicel in the Caribbean and Central American Region.

At Ericsson, his main responsibilities included development and design of telecom solutions and support his clients’ senior level management team in defining their overall strategy. He has lived and worked in many countries including Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Surinam, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama, Senegal, Tanzania and Ghana.

He values hard work, common sense, loyalty and honesty both at work and in his personal life. He believes that communication is key to understanding people, their culture, building relationships and ultimately growing business. He has a genuine interest in people and finding smart and sensible ways to communicating and interacting. Communication enables better working relationships amongst colleagues and clients.

Joseph Torku is Managing Director of Goldkey Properties Limited. He has many years of experience working in finance and investment management in both the private and public sectors. Joseph joined Goldkey in August 2012 from Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), where he was Group Head of Real Estate and later Head of Finance for Ecobank East Africa Cluster (EAC). Prior to joining ETI, Joseph was Executive Director of Finance at Shell Ghana, and was an Investment Analyst with Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) for several years.

Joseph is a Chartered Accountant (ICA) by profession and has an MBA (Banking & Finance) from Centre Africain d’Etudes Supérieures en Gestion (CESAG), Senegal, as well as a Diploma in Finance from the University of Berkeley in California, USA. Joseph also studied at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), from where he obtained a BA (Hons) Economics degree and Diploma in Education.
